What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text record stored by your browser. It can help a website remember sessions, language, currency, security settings, and consent choices.
Types of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Necessary and functional | Session, security, CSRF protection, language, currency, authentication, forms, and remembering your cookie choice. Core parts of the site may not work without them. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 is used only after your consent. It helps us understand page usage and technical issues. If you decline, the GA4 script is not loaded and known first-party analytics cookies are removed. |
Partner services
When you use flight, bus, hotel, or other partner features, third-party technical components may be loaded. Their cookies and data processing are also governed by the relevant provider’s policy. These components are loaded to provide the requested service.
Retention
Your Aviatrip cookie choice is stored for 180 days, after which we may ask again. Session cookies are generally removed when the browser closes; other functional cookies have retention periods based on their purpose.
How to change your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” button in the footer at any time. When analytics is disabled, the consent state is updated and known Google Analytics cookies are removed.
